Threads of Change
Jo&Stitch began in a small, cramped room of an HDB flat. We had just moved in with a relative, and everything around us felt unfamiliar. The only sound that brought comfort was the steady hum of the sewing machine late into the night—a reminder of something constant in the middle of change.
Starting a business wasn’t something we had planned for in that season of upheaval. Yet, in the midst of uncertainty, we felt the need for a new beginning—and that’s how Jo&Stitch was born.

Having Fayth
Back then, we experimented with all sorts of recycled fabrics—old clothes, curtains, even bedsheets. But it wasn’t until our very first sample came to life that we found the courage to share our work with the world. It was a simple camera bag, stitched from an old dress and thoughtfully designed to carry a film camera. That little bag became our first spark of possibility.
The Fayth Camera Bag became the first product that we sold, and it was well-loved by our small community!

Mending & Making
Things began to take shape quickly. Soon, custom requests started coming in—some wanted different fabrics, others asked for new dimensions. At first, we weren’t confident in our skills, but we trusted the process anyway. With each project, we learned, improved, and grew. In many ways, our community shaped us into who we are today.
As we explored further, we started mixing and matching fabrics and prints, creating playful and one-of-a-kind pieces. And somewhere along the way, sewing became more than just craft—it became our way of piecing life back together. Just as we stitched fabrics into something new, we were also stitching hope, joy, and fresh beginnings into our own story.

Beyond the Seams
Building this brand has carried us through some of life’s biggest challenges. To us, Jo&Stitch is more than just a business—it’s the heart and soul poured into every idea and every stitch. Our hope is to nurture a community that cherishes not only the products, but also the hands and stories behind them, no matter the fabric, print, or design.
